Morning Brew with Leaders is HREN's breakfast series: one senior leader, one moderator from the HR community, an early start at Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel and a room of HR professionals. Four episodes in, here is what each morning brought.

Episode 1: Sayeda Tahya Hossain, Grameenphone

The series opened on 8 November 2025 with Sayeda Tahya Hossain, Chief Human Resources Officer of Grameenphone, in conversation with Sabin Rahman of HSBC. She shared core experiences from her career, and life-focused strategies to help a new generation connect with the real essence of HR.

The conversation kept coming back to practical experience and human-centred leadership as the bridge between learning and real-world work. Maasranga Television covered and broadcast the session, taking it to viewers across the country.

Episode 2: Dr. Melita Mehjabeen, IBA

On 5 December, Dr. Melita Mehjabeen, Professor at the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, spoke with Sharmin Sultan, Chief People Officer of GPH Ispat, about career progression, leadership readiness and the realities behind professional growth.

Failure is not a setback but a stepping stone: it is what builds resilience, wisdom and maturity.

That was her strongest message. She also made the case for continuous learning and deliberate upskilling to stay relevant in a fast-changing world, with practical guidance on climbing the leadership ladder that resonated across industries.

Episode 3: Hosne Ara Loma, Nestlé Bangladesh

In January the series welcomed Hosne Ara Loma, Human Resources Director of Nestlé Bangladesh, for an inspiring conversation moderated by Kaiser Chowdhury, Senior Director – HR at Evercare Bangladesh.

Episode 4: Md. Adil Hossain Noble, Axentec

February's guest was Md. Adil Hossain Noble, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Axentec PLC, with Sabin Rahman returning as moderator. His subject was leadership at the top, and his message was that discipline, strong work ethics and consistent habits of growth are non-negotiable. The foundations he described:

  • Disciplined daily actions.
  • Ethical leadership and sound decision-making.
  • Consistency and clarity of thought.
  • Accountability, and excellence in execution.

What connects them

A telecom CHRO, a business-school professor, an FMCG HR director and a technology CEO took four very different paths. The format stays the same: one guest, a moderator who knows the HR world, and a conversation built on real experience.

Photos from every episode are on the event pages: Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3 and Episode 4.
